About this programme
JJU launched its Nursing department as a founding health-science programme, training nurses to address the severe shortage of health professionals in the Somali Region. Clinical rotations take place in Jigjiga University Teaching Hospital and affiliated health facilities across the region. Graduates are licensed by the Ethiopian Health Professionals Council.
