About this programme
You learn to find the hazards in a workplace, judge how dangerous they are, and design controls that keep workers safe and meet safety and environmental law. The course combines occupational health, environmental science and risk management, with attention to sustainable practice. Graduates work as safety, health and environment officers in industries such as manufacturing, construction and healthcare.
Entry requirement: at least 34 points.
What Botho University says: “IGCSE/BGCSE/equivalent with 5 Passes including Credit in English, Mathematics/Statistics and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Double Science). Applicants in possession of a Diploma or Higher Diploma in related fields may be given exemptions based on the credit point equivalency.”
