Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data ACRON (operated by NANOGA Education, Palapye, Botswana) holds about you. It applies to every account, including accounts created with email and password, Google, or Facebook sign-in.

1.What gets deleted

When you ask us to delete your data, we remove the personal information linked to your ACRON account, including:

• Your account details (name, email, and login credentials).
• The subjects, grades, and computed points you entered.
• Your program matches, saved lists, and app settings.
• Your messages to the Abby AI coach and your activity history.
• The connection between your ACRON account and any Facebook or Google login you used to sign in.

2.How to request deletion

Choose whichever is easiest for you:

1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my data".
2. WhatsApp us at +267 7689 7652 and say you would like your ACRON data deleted.

If you signed up with Facebook, you can also remove ACRON from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. Removing the app stops future access; to also erase the data we already hold, please send us a deletion request using one of the methods above.

3.How we verify it's you

To protect your account, we only act on requests we can tie to its owner. Sending your request from the email address on the account, or from the WhatsApp number you registered with, is enough. If we can't match the request to an account, we may ask one or two questions to confirm your identity before deleting anything.

4.How long it takes

• We acknowledge your request within 7 days.
• We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done.

5.What we may keep

By law we may need to retain a small amount of information after deletion — for example, payment and invoice records required for tax and accounting, or records we must keep to resolve a dispute or prevent abuse. We keep only what the law requires, for no longer than necessary, and we do not use it for any other purpose. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy and Botswana's Data Protection Act, 2018.
